We understand the importance of branding and wanting your products to stand out and communicate your brand values. With our in-house designer & packaging team, we can assist you with any label and packaging designs.
We work with a number of label printers and can achieve different finishes and styles as required. To complement your product we can also arrange for individual printed cartons to complete them.
How does it work?
The Hera team are always excited to help launch new brand. You will work closely with our design team to make sure we execute what you are looking for. Our design team will ask you to complete a design brief of which they will take away and mock up what you have described. We know it may not be right first time, that’s why we are happy to make up to 3 revisions for you free of charge*. Once you are happy with your products design we can move on to getting your design printed.

What type of artwork do i need to provide?
We require your logo in PDF or .AI format. These are the file types that our designers work with. If you have a JPEG of your logo it will need to be of the highest resolution so that it can be converted with ease. I’m afraid we do not work with other file types such as PNG. We work with CMYK. If your design is a pantone colour, please match this to CMYK as we cannot use pantone colours with digital printers.
How long does it take?
We aim to complete artwork and design within the initial 2 weeks of placing your order. Artwork completed in this timeframe will keep you on track with your delivery schedule. If artwork takes longer than 2 weeks the final delivery schedule will reflect this. We do not give a dedicated date of delivery until all components of the order are on site & complete. This includes completion of artwork, packaging, outer cartons and any extras including tamper seals or bubble wrap. Once all components are on site and move into production we are able to give you an estimated delivery date.
What if i am designing my labels myself?
If you are designing your labels yourself you must make sure that they include the label information listed here is our Label Requirements section. This is a legal requirement of information to have on your label in order to sell your products. If you are unsure of anything that needs to be on your label please feel free to ask one of the team who will be happy to help you.
When you send your artwork it should meet the criteria’s below;
- Font Size: We would always advise a minimum font size of 4pt
- Bleed: 3mm
- CMYK colours
* MATT LAMINATE – If you are considering a matt laminate finish, please note that matt comes with a potential risk of marking. Markings can be a rubbing mark or light scratches, We will always do our very best to get your products to you in perfect condition however we cannot guarantee they will not mark in transit.
What is free issue?
Free issue is when the customer provides all the components for their product. You are very welcome to free issue your labels & packaging for your product.
How can i send my logo to the Hera Design Team?
Once your order is paid for and you have received your order confirmation including your order number on it, you can email your logo in PDF or .AI format directly to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to include your order number and name within the email. Then one of our team will get back in touch to confirm we have received your logo and the next steps.
